Should 'Client Reviews' be more like an experience and less like an exercise?

This "fact find" wizard looks nice within Xplan touch. Do they come looking standard like this? or is the one shown in this video a customized wizard.
It needs to be created (I doubt we could get acceptance within THIS Community on what constitutes a 'standard' Fact Find) but the actual effort to do so is somewhat trivial. I'd suggest that coming up with what's in and what's out would take longer!
Michael Kinens we are in the process of having the fact find wizard created for touch. We have an issue where our administrator has said that once we change the interface for client online access, it changes for everyone on our site, not just our practice. Is there a way around this?
Also how does the wizard become active? Are we required to select it, or will it become active after meeting a-certain criteria?
Wizards such as the Fact Find can be conditioned based on a range of criteria. To address your needs, Group conditioning will ensure visibility of the Wizard is limited to your clients alone (or more broadly where others see the benefit of your approach).
Further, client data can also be utilised when building your conditions. In the video you will notice that much of the menu which typically presents to a client in XPLANtouch isn't visible. To achieve this conditions have been enlisted that hide them (menu items) when the client is in 'Fact Find mode'. This is simply managed via a custom client field that is exclusively controlled by the workflow. I can provide more detail on this if you'd like?
How hard is it to get somebody to create this wizard for us if I map out the pages required? I don't have access to the interface editor and our administrator does not want to make it for us at this time. In all honesty, it wouldn't be much different to the wizard shown in the video above. One change would obviously be the show at log-in video, to our advisers explaining the importance of a review and how to complete the fact find.
Just curious as to who can make this wizard for me?
This shouldn't be difficult to accomplish. I will arrange for an AE to discuss further with your Licensee.
Hi Michael, great video. Would it be possible to use a fact find wizard similar to the above to send to a new client to complete online ahead of their first appointment? I assume we would need to create them as a client on xplan with name, DOB and email address and set them up with online login, before we could send them the instructions to login and complete the fact find wizard. Would the data they enter via the wizard flow into the corresponding fields in xplan reducing the data entry required by us following their first appointment?

Hi Michael, we use XPlan Pro (2 users) as opposed to the enterprise version which I understand is for groups of 10 or more users. Is a wizard such as this possible with XPlan Pro ? (South Africa). Thanks
Neil Phillips XPLAN Pro is a "shared" site in that everything on the site is the same for all the various businesses that use this site. With this in mind it becomes very difficult to define a review process that will work for the 400 odd financial advisory businesses that use XPLAN Pro.
Will definitely be worth discussing some of your requirements and what you are looking to achieve through the XPLAN platform. Will be worth exploring if XPLAN Enterprise may be the more appropriate solution for your business as this will allow you to configure the site in line with your specific business requirements.
