Email attachment order

Question asked by David Hatfield on Mar 8, 2018

In MS Outlook, attachments are sent in the order in which they are added to the email.

When creating an email in xplan, attachments can be loaded in any order, but when viewed on the preview or sent, the attachments are in alphabetical order of the attachment file name.

Some of our advisers are in the habit of referring to attachments by the order in which they are attached. (i.e. "first attachment", "2nd attachment", etc). If they do this, and subsequently upload another attachment, the new attachment can be inserted at the top or middle of the list, changing the attachment order, and making their references invalid.

Is there a way to reorder the attachments after uploading, other than renaming the file and uploading again?
