Insights: How To Register

Users whose XPLAN site has been Insights 'enabled' will be asked to register the next time they access Help.  Registering in this fashion is quick, instant and allows you to seamlessly access Insights from the Help button in the future.  Speak to your System Administrator or IRESS Account Executive about enabling this feature. 

 

If you wish to register directly via the Insights Community, you'll need to do the following:

 

1. Click here to visit the registration page

Alternatively, you can click on the "Register" button in the top right-hand corner of the site, or simply click on the link provided in your email invitation if a colleague has invited you to a Private or Secret Group.

 

 

2. Fill out your details in the subsequent form

We highly recommend inserting your LinkedIn URL, as this allows you to connect with other professionals in the community.  If you don't have a personal LinkedIn profile, consider using the business' profile or that of your licensee/network/agency. 

 

 

3. Hit "Create Account"

 

 

 

4. Check your email and click on confirmation link

Look for the following email in your inbox (check your spam/junk folder if nothing appears after 10mins):

 

 

 

You will see the following message if your registration has been successful:

 

Why not download the Insights app while you are waiting for your access to be approved?

 

 

5. In due course you will receive an email confirming that your account has been approved  

Once your account has been approved you will be free to login, access the content available only to registered users, post questions, chat with other members, etc.   

 

 

 

FAQ

 

Why do I need to register again if I'm already logged into XPLAN?  The reason for this is that if you ever switch companies, you might still want to be able to access your account.

 

I'm having trouble registering. It won't let me go to the next step.  This is most likely due to not filling out all fields correctly. Go back and see if there are any missing or incorrectly filled fields. As mentioned before, we do require Linkedin URLs. 

 

I've registered but I didn't get an email to confirm my email address.  Please check your Junk/Spam folders (or your organisation's email quarantine service if utilised) for this email.  As this may be the first time you have dealt with this platform it may not be viewed as a trusted source.
