Meet Ian Auld. Ian is the Director and Principal at FinGuard and a long standing member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). At FinGuard, he oversees service strategy development and execution for FinGuard's 100+ clients.

 

Ian first heard of SuiteBox at a conference in Brisbane. As the champion for strategy in his company, Ian is continuously looking for ways to improve client engagement. Better engagement means more opportunities and more opportunities mean additional sales.

Ian recognized SuiteBox's potential to provide a Financial Advice Review process platform with no geographic limitations. Ian can arrange and meet with interstate and intrastate local clients on five minutes notice which would not be possible if the clients had to travel to his office for a meeting. The clients love the solution because there is more productive time in their day since there is no wasted time sitting in traffic commuting to a meeting.

Meeting the compliance requirements and improving delivery business efficiency is challenging for the Financial Advice industry making it difficult for advisers to provide affordable advice .

Offering an alternative to face to face meeting has allowed Ian’s business to book SuiteBox appointments for approx. 50% of his client base.

Ian particularly loves the recording functionality in SuiteBox that enables recording the whole or parts of the meeting .

He typically records a summary of the meeting at the end of the discussion and saves the recording back against the client record. “From a compliance point of view, this is magic", he states.
